Bei Zhan Restaurant

We head to a chinese restaurant called Bei Zhan for our dinner. This place is located very near to the 'Eye of Malaysia' and the whole building is very white and bright so I can said it is very easy to spot this place. Their service was very friendly but not attentive enough. The restaurant is very big and it was quite crowded during the dinner time.

Looking at their menu, the prices were around mid range. Not that cheap and not that expensive either, total bill came up to $89RM to share among the 4 of us. We decided to order Vinegar Pork Chop, Curry Fish Head, Garlic Chicken, Shallot Oil Steamed Beancurd and Sambal Kangkong.

Their menu

Garlic Chicken - It look like fried mini chicken wings to me, no strong smell or taste of garlic but the marinate of the chicken was quite good.

Vinegar Pork Chop -I thought that this dish will be like the black vinegar pork that we ate locally but it turn out to look and taste very similar to the sweet and sour pork, the only difference is the sour taste are slightly stronger.

Curry Fish Head -Taste more like Assam Fish to me. I like the spiciness of the gravy that goes with my white rice, thumbs up :)

Shallot Oil Steamed Beancurd - The topping on the steamed beancurd was very fragrant and with the sauce it in makes the whole dish taste very nice.

Fried Sambal Kangkong - Looks very spicy but the spiciness of it, is still alright.
