Wafflelicious @ Upper Thomson Road

Got to try Wafflelicious because I am Vandilicious!!! Hahaha... okay cut the crap, I know I am very lame :P lollol

Saw this shop whenever we drove past, decided to give it a tried! It is located oppsisite the famous Prata place, along the road which can be seen.

It was pretty crowded on a friday night, manage to get a seat and start ordering! They have a few types of waffles, banana, chocolates, plain and so on. We choose plain with ice cream, ice cream melt quite fast maybe due to the warm waffle. Oh ya, their ice cream are quite limited as in not much of choices.Waffle was freshly baked, it was warm, fluffy and slighty crisp, very nice!

I just find their waffle along with the ice cream was too sweet, but still worth to come back again. I want to try their chocolate waffle the next time round :D/

BigBang Bulgogi Korean BBQ & Steamboat

Got this $19.90 deal for each adult for buffet dinner from deal.com.sg. Wanted to make reservation for Monday evening  but was told that they are fully booked for this week accept Tuesday, so I just go ahead for it.

I brought my girl along and pay $10.90 (after GST) for kids price. We reach around 7.20pm, the place wasn't very crowded and they even accept walked in but they still can tell me that they are fully booked? Their located next to Courts, seem like newly opened. Restaurant has very poor ventilation or totally no ventilation at all, it was quite smokey that my eyes feel hurts too. Oh ya, don't bath and wash your hair if you intend to dine here lol. After I had my dinner here I can smell the BBQ all over me even in the car and even after I bath!!! Lol.... :P

Variety here are slightly more comparing to Ssikkek at Novena which I went to. Forget about their kimchi, is bland and tasteless. They have 2 types of meat, pork with and without marinate and the beef and marinated chicken wings with other seafood like prawn, sotong and so on. I was too excited grabbing the meats that I missed out the Saba fish :( They also have some cooked items like fried salmon which has turn soggy, sushi, korean pancake and korean rice cake.

One thing I like about is that they have both steamboat and BBQ together so you can throw your fishball or meatball or hotdog in and boil and cooked your own style maggie mee  Note: they do not have any choices of soup so create your kind of soup. For me I throw in tomato and prawn which make the soup taste sweet and tasty! And there is free flow of korean tea and iced water! As for the marinate pork, nothing to shout about, is simply marinated with black pepper that's all.

$19.90 for weekday dinner, weekend you need to add another $5 which I find not worth to give the extra just to come on weekend. Original price was $24, think should be before GST. Given the variety and location which is near to my place I will consider coming back here again :)>-
