Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh @ Kota Tinggi

Went all the way to tried the famous Bak Kut Teh @ Kota Tinggi but I made a mistake to go during PH (9th Aug). Luckily custom was not jam and it took my hub to drive an hour to reach, 45 minutes to Q (look at the picture of the crowd) and 30 minutes to wait for food. It was the longest time waiting for my food ever...

Is so hard to find a table and by the time we ordered is already coming to 11am and mostly all the side dishes has sold out including my favourite you tiao  so we just ordered the Ba Ku Teh and Salted Vegetable.

The soup taste is way different from the one we had in JB, it was really good, strong and favourable but if you ask me to come back here again I will think twice. After this we went to Desaru Ostrich farm which is another hour drive again................

 Weather still looks good when we head for Island Hopping but after which it start to rain badly and so I never get to take much of the picture

Sorry for not updating, getting no 'movetivation' to blog hahaha....

Got the Jetstar 1-1 deal to Phuket, each was $120 w/o baggage. We bought the ticket last Dec and finally after a long wait we are going for the sun!! But sad to say, we went on the wrong season, it was Monsoon!!! Never expect it was so bad, raining everyday, more water than the sun.

We engage Mr Kom (+66 83 1720862 / kom99@gmail.com) as our driver for our tour and airport transfer, everything is hassle free! We need not worry finding taxi and need not worry in going around to get a good day trip, he settle everything for us. He can speak good english and best of all his respond to email is super fast! Will definitely look for him again when we return to Phuket.

Our hotel is not so bad, I choose deluxe room because of the balcony to dry our swim clothes but only a corner of the space can be use because the rest will get the water when it rains. Beside the hotel has many massage parlour and is close to the beach. If you thinking about Jungceylon is about 20 minutes walk.

Wanted Linda Seafood but was closed due to bad weather so we tried another stall. Wasn't so bad just that the fish and the oyster wasn't as good as Linda's.

 

No alcohol on Vesak Day!!!
