Jonker 88 Dessert (Malacca)

This place is well known among Singaporean, everyone seems to drop by this place when they visit Malacca. After a long walked at Jonker street under the hot and humid sun we are really thirsted and tired so we head to this place for nice, cooling dessert and some yummy food.

It was a long queue, one for the dessert another for the food. They have a few variety of  desserts on their menu so we picked the Durian Chendol and their Baba Chendol. My brother ordered the Assam Laksa and the Baba Laksa. I liked the interior of this place, it was decorated with different kinds of antiques, the old paintings that is hang on the wall, the wooden table and chairs.

Their Chendol serving is perfect for one, cooling and sweet. The Durian Chendol is just an added of the Durian syrup with lesser of the gula melaka (palm sugar), something different and special, Durian lover might want to give this a try. Assam Laksa vs Baba Laksa? I think I prefer Assam Laksa, for the touch of sour that goes with the spiciness.
