Siam Kitchen

My friend and I went to try out Siam Kitchen for lunch. I quite like Thai food is hot and spicy especially Tom Yum soup. We order Garlic Fried Kangkong, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Seafood Tom Yum Soup, Green Curry and Chendol for our desert.

They serve us 'Keropok' is name Prawn Cracker call in Malay before our dishes come. I tried dip the cracker into their sweet and spicy chilli it taste quite nice hehe...

Here come our dishes the rice was serve in a big bowl we just take what ever we want and if you need more just ask them to refill. For Kangkong I will always order Sambal type but I try something different for this time round. The vegetable is crunchy and fragant very nice as for the Green curry my friend find it nice but I don't quite like it maybe I find it too thick or maybe I still prefer those chinese red curry

This Sweet and Sour taste good, the sesame has make the chicken more fragant. Is crispy, tender and juicy I like this dish alot. Those who like sweet and sour got to tried this.

This Tom Yum soup is nice but too spicy for me. It is a small serving for one person only luckily I am sharing with my friends if not I won't be able to finish it. There is plenty of ingredient inside like squid, mushroom, fish and meat.

After a spicy battle time to cool off with a icing desert, Chendol. It is a traditional desert originating from Indonesia but is also quite popular in Singapore. This desert consist of shaved ice, coconut milk, starch noodles with green food coloring (usually sourced from the pandan leaf), and palm sugar, Red beans and Grass jelly.

Taman Sentosa @ JB

After lunch we went to shop around and later we went to Taman Sentosa to grab our dinner. Heard alot of good review that the seafood there is cheap and nice.

We order Stingray, Fried baby squid, Sambal kangkong and Cereal Crayfish total only cost us less than $60rm for 2 pax.

Quite a big portion, spicy and nice. Don't forget the chilli is nice too.

I love their Cereal crayfish the fried cereal was fragrant and nice. The meat itself was was juicy and tender. The Fried baby squid was crispy and the Sambal kangkong wasn't that spicy just nice for me.

Cooling off with a Coconut water.

Wong Kok Char Chan Teng @ J.B City Square (Part 1)

Had been to City Square a couple of times but never tried this before so my friend and I decide to tried it for our lunch. We order Sechuan Spicy noodle, Pork Rib noodle, Waffle ice cream which is one of my favourite and Chocolate fondue. For our drinks we got Sour Plum juice and Lemon grass juice I happen to found out that their drinks are serve in jug and different shape of it.

Wow I was suprise that their juice was such a large serving. The waffle is nice and it was different from the waffle I ate in Singapore not only chocolate fudge but it also has peanut butter on it.

A mini chocolate fondue after finishing up the fondue I still don't know if I should pour the milk into the chocolate hehe....

Pork rib noodle the taste was average as what my friend told me.

This noodle isn't spicy but I like the soup is quite nice.

Western food at AMK S-11

The below was taken when my friends and I went to Ang Mo Kio S-11 for supper. It was next to Jubilee the western food at S-ll kopitiam was well known. My friend order a Chicken Culet and Salmon steak and I got myself Chicken chop.

Laksa Steamboat

Sometimes back I heard about this newly open Laksa Steamboat so decide to try with my friends. If I am not wrong is one and only steamboat with Laksa soup base. But they have laksa soup and also chicken soup for those who can't take spicy. They have around 50 items on the menu but they are all ala carte. I love their meat is like those japanese sabu sabu very thinly slice and fresh. Talking about the Laksa soup I give my 2 thumbs up the soup is very thick, fragant and even after drinking a few bowls you won't feel sick of it but will crave for more. About the chicken soup I think I still prefer Laksa thou I am not a chilli eater but this soup is alright to me. Don't forget to dip with their own made sambal chilli is very nice too. Estimate is about $15/pax but it depends on what you order.

Lian He Ben Ji @ Chinatown hawker centre

Was craving for Claypot rice so I met up with my buddy to go to Chinatown for a nice and yummy claypot dinner. It was located above 'CK department store' and it was right at a corner. We order a Mixed Claypot Rice and a Watercress soup. We waited for 30mins before the food was serve while waiting I went to order a desert as it look interesting to me. It was Ice Red Bean with Peanut with gula melakan. Finally our rice is here it was piping hot and a huge serving. We never expected it was so much but lucky my buddy is a big eater hehe....
We pour some dark soya sauce and sesame oil into the rice and mixed well. The rice was fragant and not too hard it was just nice and the meat was very tender. The soup was light and refreshing and I heard Watercress soup is good for removing heatiness.
